While there are a multitude of baby bedding choices,with a few exceptions most of these bedding selections will fit into one of a handful of decorating styles. Geometric and abstract patterned fabrics are often the selections used for the bedding. These bedding sets can often also take on a very retro feel. Much of the polka dot bedding for babies on the market has a decidedly contemporary feel to it.

Fun or whimsical styled nurseries have a anything goes kind of look inspired by many things that children enjoy. Whimsical nursery furniture can be a mix of styles. A great example of a whimsical style crib is one fabricated to look like Cinderella's Carriage. Fun baby bedding choices for the nursery would include a jungle safari look, frog baby bedding, nautical bedding sets, or maybe beach themed bedding. The ideas for a whimsical nursery are endless.
